Environmental Assessments and Authorizations: SEA - EIA - IPPC Permit

On 22 October 2013 was held in Rome the workshop " Guidelines for EIA Screening (Article 23 Law n.97/2013) and for the Environmental Monitoring of works subject to national EIA" organized by the Directorate for Environmental Assessments of the MoE as part of the National Operational Programme "Governance and System Actions" 2007-2013.

The workshop provided for two sessions: in the first session general and specific methodological guidelines on Environmental Monitoring Project of works subject to EIA  and some work experience on environmental monitoring were presented; in the second session the regulatory and technical aspects related to the termination of the infringement procedure n.2009/2086 against Italy "Non-compliance of the national provisions governing the EIA Screening" and started discussion of methodological proposals for the development of the Guidelines provided for by article 23 of Law 97/2013.

The workshop was attended mainly by public administrations and private subjects involved in the processes of environmental assessment.
