Coordinated text of the EIA directives 2011/92/EU and 2014/52/EU

Within 16 March 2017 Italy will have to transpose in its legal system the amendments made by the new EIA directive, 2014/52/UE, to the directive 2011/92/UE which codified le previous directives (85/337/EEC, 97/11/EC, 2003/35/EC, 2009/31/ EC).

The European Commission has drafted an informal consolidated version of the coordinated text of the two directives, available in English, to provide a single text useful also for the transposition by Member States, although the document is meant purely as a documentation tool and the institutions do not assume any liability for its contents.

The coordinated text has been translated into Italian by the General Directorate for the Environmental Assessments and Authorizations of Ministry of Environment, fully respecting the formal and substantial contents of the version prepared by the European Commission, and it is available in the Section “EU Legislations” of the Portal.
