On 12 October 2016 the SEA scoping phase of the environmental rehabilitation and urban regeneration Programme of Coroglio Bagnoli Site of National Interest  has started. The Ministry of Environment has submitted the preliminary report to environmental authorities in order to define the scope and level of detail of the information to be included in the Environmental Report.
