The EIA procedure related to Ciampino "G.B. Pastine" Airport Master Plan has been archived

On 4 December 2015, as requested by ENAC, the EIA - Strategic Works Law procedure on the Master Plan of Ciampino Airport, started on 5 November 2015, has been archived.

The EIA procedure was started according to the dispositions for the strategic works provided by article 71, paragraph 3a of Decree Law No.1 of 24/01/2012, converted into Law 37/2012.

Following the issue of Decree Law 185 of 25/11/2015 which, in Article 9 provides the repeal of the referred art.71, paragraph 3a (which classifies Ciampino Airport as a strategic infrastructure), ENAC considered it appropriate to withdraw the request, as it will be resubmitted as EIA procedure pursuant to article 23 of Legislative Decree 152/2006 following the conversion into law of the Decree Law (deadline for conversion is January 24, 2016).
